Well well, looks like Apple hasn't completely abandoned the older OS X for the younger, prettier iOS. In a job post on Apple's website, it says they are looking for a software engineer to work on a "new and revolutionary feature for Mac OS X." The whole job post is full of Apple's usual hyperbole, saying it's something that has "never been done before;"the only thing missing from the description is the word "magical." Maybe the magic is added later on in the development process.
The requirements for the position are a degree in Computer Science, knowledge of Objective-C, and experience with the HTTP protocol is a plus. Does this mean the next version of OS X will be more cloud-based? More importantly, which member of the cat family will it be named after? My vote's for the ocelot.
