Stitcher iPhone app updated to support background audio

Stitcher, the multi-platform app that plays podcasts, radio shows and other on-demand audio, has been updated to version 4.0, which finally adds the background audio capability the was introduced in iOS 4. Now when you open the app, you're free to check e-mail, surf the web, and basically come and go back and forth between the app, all without skipping a beat while your podcast is playing. You also play, pause, and skip to the next item from the iPhone's built in audio controls as well, which is handy if your phone is locked.  Head over to iTunes and check it out.
