It's truly a sad day today, as Sony has announced it has shipped it's last batch of cassette Walkmans in Japan, the last place they were still manufactured and sold. We're sure many of you remember your first Walkman, your first taste of portable audio listening pleasure. We know all technology eventually dies and is replaced by something newer and better, but that doesn't make the pain any better. So here's to you, Walkman, you had a good run.
